Joint pain is pestering a large number of people throughout the world. Most often, joint pain affects adults older than 45 in large numbers. Joint pains are caused due to a wide range of reasons such as Arthritis, joint injury, Tendinitis, joint strain, bursitis, infectious diseases, Gout and more.

Usually, joints act as a bridge and help to connect the bones. They offer form, stability and movement to the body. Joints consist of bones, muscles, cartilage, tendons, ligaments and other connective tissue. Generally, cartilage prevents the end of the bones from rubbing against each other. When injury or infectious disease affects the structures of the joint, joint pain occurs.

Massaging affected area using oil is also considered an effective technique. Medications:

There are several medications available for joint pain, but it is important to get proper prescription from a physician before using it. Remember, over dosage of medications can make things even worst. Usually, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are used to reduce severe pain and swelling.
