Some of them are the shrines, tomb furniture and gold funerary mask and coffin. Besides sculptures and statues, the gallery also features numerous photographs. You cannot resist from visiting Royal Mummy Room which is home to 27 royal mummies. It was closed in 1981 by the order of then-President Anwar Sadat. But reopened in 1985 and today, it features only 9 mummies. Mummy of Queen Hatshepsut is the most recent addition to this collection.
