In general, men take ejaculation for granted - it is a natural outcome of sex and masturbation. But when things go wrong, ejaculation problems can cause difficulties in sexual relationships, as well as loss of self-esteem, erectile issues and reduced fertility. Understanding common penis disorders, as well as maintaining a healthy organ through good hygiene, regular health care and treatment with nourishing penis vitamins and minerals, are all important facets of male health care. In addition, it is helpful to understand how ejaculation works and what can go wrong. What is ejaculation, and how does it happen? rnWhen a male orgasm occurs, the muscular contractions trigger the release of sperm from the testicles. The sperm are transported to the prostate and combined with fluids to create the milky substance known as semen. The seminal fluid then enters the urethra, where it is released as ejaculate. Retrograde ejaculation - Also known as a dry orgasm, retrograde ejaculation occurs when the seminal fluid passes into the bladder, rather than leaving the penis, resulting in an orgasm that produces little or no ejaculate. When this takes place, the semen is eliminated through the bladder, giving the urine a cloudy appearance. While this is not dangerous and does not affect the ability to achieve an erection or climax, it can have a negative impact on fertility. This condition may be caused by certain medications, surgery, and nerve malfunction; according to the Mayo Clinic, men who have had prostate surgery or who have chronic health conditions such as diabetes are more likely to experience dry orgasms. Premature ejaculation - This term refers to the inability to control an orgasm, resulting in achieving climax earlier than a man or his partner would prefer, usually in under two minutes. Premature ejaculation, or PE, is not necessarily related to a disorder or health condition; it is often psychological in nature, although it may also be caused by an extreme state of excitement. Experimenting with different sexual techniques or foreplay, relaxation, and muscle control may help to prevent this problem from interfering with sexual enjoyment. Delayed ejaculation - Delayed ejaculation, or DE, refers to the inability to achieve an orgasm inside a partner. DE may be caused by psychological issues, as well as certain medications. Loss of penis sensitivity is also frequently indicated in delayed ejaculation. Many men may experience occasional difficulty reaching climax; when this problem occurs more than 50% of the time, it is generally regarded as penile dysfunction. Blood in ejaculate - Blood in the semen can be frightening, but in most cases, it is not related to a serious problem. Often, small blood vessels can rupture inside the penis, causing the appearance of blood in the ejaculate. This may be the result of aggressive sex or masturbation, trauma to the penis, prostate surgery, or a number of other issues. In a small number of instances, blood in the ejaculate of men over 40 can be a sign of cancer; however, in most cases, the problem is minor and goes away on its own. Supporting healthy ejaculation While it is not possible to prevent all problems with ejaculation, adequate penis care goes a long way in preventing common penis disorders. Keeping the skin well-nourished and hydrated can prevent irritation and drying that may damage the skin, resulting in callusing that can lead to loss of penile sensation and impair the ability to achieve orgasm. Supporting healthy blood flow and nerve tissue function through the application of a high-quality penis health formula (most health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil) containing vitamins and minerals, antioxidants and all-natural moisturizing agents may be helpful in maintaining a healthy penis and supporting enjoyable and fulfilling sex.
