Electrician Schomberg, Ontario ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintain all electrical production equipment and respond to breakdowns with a sense of urgencyrnDiagnose and resolve electrical issues, ensuring that all safety and control functions are working properly at all timesrnMake necessary changes to current equipment and assist with new equipment installation and commissioningrnPerform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks as assignedrnMake all necessary electrical breakdown repairs within the plant and machineryrnMaintain all electrical plant equipment by performing preventive and predictive maintenance tasksrnTroubleshoot both mechanical components and electrical control systems (hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical devices)rnRead and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installationsrnUpdate and log electrical changes as per ESA established standardsrnTroubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical equipment including DC drives, safety circuits, PLC’s (Mitsubishi, Omron), relays, sensors, etc.rnOther duties as assigned in order to meet business objectives POSITION REQUIREMENTS A minimum of 3 years experience working in a fast-paced, automotive or highly automated manufacturing environmentrnPrevious experience utilizing PLC’s, HMI, variable frequency drives, motion control, CNC equipment, and panel buildingrnAbility to read and interpret electrical code specifications and regulationsrnAbility to wire equipment from blueprints is an assetrnPrevious experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is preferredrnProficient with MS Office tools, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (ie MP2)rnAble to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs as required to perform repairs on equipmentrnKey Customer Requirements – NA QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION Completion of an apprenticeship and technical school training.rnLicensed Industrial Electrician (442A) with strong working knowledge of the Electrical Safety Code
