The reaction of gas prices has been swift and deadly for great car and airplane companies. It did not take much time to participate in the necessary belt-tightening and cost cutting tactics. So far, thousands of employees have been fired. Hiring freezes are being implemented and budgets for new positions are being lost in silence. Every business, no matter where they are, focus on reducing operating expenses and try to time to this most recent challenge is survival. Employees are also hiding down and working hard with the hope that the layoff notice did not hit them. A slowdown is an opportunity to participate in self-assessment. Ensure that the program also offers individual training during this period of time.
