Festivals in Qatar are a fundamental part of the rich cultural inheritance of Qatar. The vibrant and magnificent festivals of Qatar act as an appeal for the tourists too. All these festivals in Qatar provide boundless fun and pleasure for the local people as well as for the tourists. As Islam is the chief religion in Qatar, so the festivals related to this particular religion are celebrated with solemnity and grandeur.

The most important and biggest among Qatar Festivals is Eid; that is celebrated with lot of splendor in Qatar. All the streets, houses, shops, hotels, hotels and public places are wonderfully lightened up and decorated during these festivities. The month of Ramadan is another important time for the Islam followers. There is excitement and frolic in the air. Doha offers abundance of shopping opportunities, from small computer tools to sophisticated furniture, from clothes to curtains. However their collections may not as all-inclusive as in other big cities or as cheap as you may find in other countries.

Location wise, mostly malls are placed in various main spots of Doha and people will drive to any of them. It really depends on your required brand in order to select the correct mall location. Generally, the middle class and high disposable income earners go to Royal Plaza and shop at sections of Villagio. Villagio Mall with around 220 stores spread over 130,000 square meters of retail space has several shops, including many eminent brands in the US, UK, Italian and German markets.

Doha shopping Centers are relatively modern and big. Almost all malls in Doha, excluding Villagio Mall, Friday and Saturday are “family day”, which means only visitors with family or female visitors are allowed to enter the building. Normally daily opening hours are between 10 am and 10 pm, excluding some shopping malls that open a bit late on Friday. Nearly all of the time malls are quite ease during weekdays but mostly crowded on weekends. Car parking is currently still free of charge.
