For the second time in under a year, the UK's leading gas and electricity suppliers are putting up their prices by quite a considerable amount. Though this is partly to due to the number of barrels of crude oil and crude oil based products that have gone missing thanks to Hurricane Isaac (a number which is said to be in the tens of millions on both counts); and not helped by a high profile fire in one of the world's biggest oil refineries; the UK's biggest energy provider had already announced the change in price before these events. And all this comes after the whole sale cost of gas and electricity (which means the amount that the providers themselves pay for the energy on the international market) has fallen. The companies have come under scrutiny because of this; not to mention the fact that the changes were fairly quietly pushed through in the middle of the warmest summer that Britain has experienced in several years; and unfortunately it seems that for many homeowners the changes have so far gone unnoticed. If you have heard about these price hikes, you might be looking for ways to better insulate your house so you do not spend quite so much money keeping it warm this winter, and fortunately for you there are a couple of answers that will keep your home warm and your money in your pocket for years to come. Insulation is the best way to make sure you are not spending more than you have to on your energy bills: whether this means purchasing some relatively inexpensive fibreglass insulation from your local DIY or hardware store, or calling the council to see about getting a discount on some cavity wall insulation; keeping the heat you do have to pay for inside your walls is a great way to ensure you do not spend more than you need to. Composite windows and doors are another fantastic way to make sure that the heat energy that you have to pay such a lot of money for is not going to waste and getting out of your house through thin glass and wooden panels. Because they are made of much thicker plastic, and since they are waterproof for longer, and not as prone to warping and slipping in their frames, there is no way that your heat will be making it to the outside, and you can turn your heating off sooner to save your cash.

Moreover, if we could earn money with the use of our intelligence then the chief accountant in a firm would be wealthier than the owner themselves. In reality, money is a result of merit karma. Nature’s law says that if you have accumul

Imagine setting sail on a vast ocean. You have a sturdy ship, a capable crew, and a destination in mind. But without a compass, a map, or a way to read the stars, your journey is left to chance.
