Three dimensional boxes or books are an easy way for getting prospects interested in your products. With its ability to access prospects the world over, low starting costs and the capacity to sell even while you are asleep it is no wonder the internet has become the preferred place for ecommerce. One downside of the exchange of products however is the inability to effectively depict your products on a two dimensional website. That's where Flash 3D box or book steps in to supply a new twist to product presentation. Since most web pages are static, two dimensional ways of demonstrating goods to potential customers, there exists a natural obstacle that inhibits many consumers from feeling comfortable with purchasing on the internet. Goods frequently appear very flat, and unrealistic, and it is feasible for many consumers to see them as being unrepresentative of the actual items. What sounds appealing might not always be viewed as such by a customer who is left looking simply at a couple of paragraphs of descriptive text, and a photograph if they're lucky. Any time goods are presented in 3D on the web it becomes more attainable and authentic to the consumer. It offers him a real feeling of what the product is and what he can expect. He's better able to connect with the item and is therefore more motivated to make a purchase. One example is in selling a book. Even in this digital age customers are looking for a real sense of what the book can give. He really wants to experience physical things like the dimensions of the book, whether it is hardcover or paperback and a vision of both the front and back covers of the book. In these conditions a scanned image of the book is not sufficient and the prospect may pass on your site to opt for the local bookstore. It is possible to overcome any hesitations in purchasing because of inability to experience the product simply by including a Flash 3D book. By doing this the customer will experience the book almost as if he were holding it. The book in 3D could be rotated, turned over, and viewed from any angle. This view makes it a lot more likely that the consumer will order. The good thing is these Flash 3D images are simple to develop. You just need to embed the Flash element into your web page, upload scanned images of the book’s covers and Flash will rebuild them into a virtual 3D book. This same concept holds true when selling software online. Presenting software boxes in 3D not only makes it much simpler for customers to visualize the product but it provides added advantages of creating the perception that the software is professionally produced, a good value for money and put together by a professional firm. Even if the software does not come in a box or just delivered via an online download it's still a smart idea to produce the right impression. Undoubtedly nothing could be simpler than including either a Flash 3D book or a Flash 3D box in a web page, since all they have to do is to either scan or draw the covers, and then save these images in a place that Flash will find. Nevertheless it has been shown many times over that creating a 3D, virtual version of a product for a customer to explore creates a far greater conversion of visits to sales.
