Bethesda game studio has once more outdone them by giving us The Elder Scroll v, which is the fifth embodiment of the Elder Scroll series. The hopes were high for this virtual game and it has proved to be spot on. They have brought to life a complete virtual world which is open for us to explore and live a life in a different world. It has outdone its predecessors.
Elder Scroll Skyrim gives us the chance to customize the nameless character according to the player’s preferences. There are in total ten races to choose from. The game is situated in Tamriel and is visually very appealing with beautiful mountains, valleys, tunnels and other landscapes. One can explore and wander into the different territories with something new to discover for every player.
The attention to detail is so superior that we actually feel being a part of it. It takes us to another level. The graphics are amazing and all in all it is a wonderful experience. There is no dearth of surprises for the players. This role play game gives us the chance to live through many characters and escape our world for some time and live in their world. It is in a non linear game where it is not mandatory to complete the main expedition. A player is free to wander and discover the places.
The story is not a sequel to the last game. It begins with the assassination of the king of Skyrim followed by a communal war between the Nords of the Skyrim. The war is a part of the prophecy which marks the return of Aludin, the Nordic God of destruction. The epic fantasy gives us the opportunity to be the hero or the prophesized Dragon born with the power of the voice. The Dovahkiin/ Dragon born is the one who will save Skyrim and Tamriel from Aludin and the Jill’s which are a group of powerful black dragons.
