rnEthanol fuel is changing our lives and the economy in a way that no one had anticipated before, with energy costs increasing every day, interest in ethanol fuel has increased. Ethanol is a variety of alcohol that can be produced naturally, similar to the way alcoholic beverages are produced. Ethanol can be used only in some specially designed vehicles, but it can also be used as a fuel additive, stretching traditional fuels in times of economic or environmental difficulties. Ethanol is used by more people today than ever before, simply because of the cheap alternative to high gas prices. Using ethanol fuel as an alternative to gas requires motorists to obtain a special kit of ethanol and install it in their cars, but given that gas prices have been unstable in recent years, many people feel that doing that kind of investment will be economically profitable in future. Ethanol fuel derived from crops has advantages over traditional fossil fuels. Ethanol fuel is obtained from sugars and starches in crops such as corn and grains. It also burns cleaner than petroleum-based fuels due to its chemical composition, relieving some of the stress exerted on the environment by exhaust emissions. Increased consumption of corn for ethanol use has already begun to affect annual crop projections for corn farms. Mixed ethanol fuel has proven to be an effective source of energy for various parts of the country, as well as for other parts of the world. E10 is a typical mix. It is common in the midwestern United States. Many other countries in the world are beginning to consider using ethanol instead of regular fuel, Denmark, for example, has also started using this type of ethanol fuel. It appears to be working well, although its use is not as extensive as many of its advocates expected it to be. There is still a long way to go for ethanol to become a natural choice for fuel, the United States had used ethanol fuel for less than one percent of its gasoline needs in 2002. https://www.ethanolexchange.net/ rnThe other big problem surrounding ethanol is the environmental problem, it is still not entirely clear if ethanol is indeed friendly to the environment, and if the environmental aspects of ethanol fuel are as good as previously described by the supporters of the use of ethanol fuel. The growing concern is that while the use of ethanol alone may be good for the environment, the resources and work done to provide the production of ethanol could potentially be dangerous for forests, rain forests and areas where corn and other ethanol-producing resources are being grown While it is true that the fuel can be made from renewable resources, there is evidence that some rain forests are actually being cleared to make room for the crops used in ethanol production . As the controversy regarding ethanol production and its dangers, it is very clear that this alternative energy source is becoming increasingly popular.
