No doubt that Microsoft Excel is the most powerful and flexible for all data entry work. Customers and thousands of business owners, Microsoft Excel to manage their personnel, payroll, record keeping and processing of materials needed. Instead of using the software themselves, they hire the workers, thus increasing demand for freelancers to market. Learn Microsoft Excel course of your life you will get a platform. Software.
Let the most popular and most frequently used function, take a look at Excel: SUM.
These data are usually stored in cells in Excel spreadsheets. If you have used Excel before, you have an idea on how cells are identified. They indicate the number of columns and rows are identified using the alphabet. For example, if you want to identify the first row and first column of the cell, you would type: A1. C7 and so on ...: Similarly, if you want to identify the cell in the third and seventh column, you would type
The cells A1, B1, C1, summary data and display results in cell D1 to cell D1 you must indicate your selection. While remaining on the cells, you "= A1 B1 + + C 1" to type and press Enter. This will result in cell D1.
Also, to another cell A1, B1 and C1 is stored in the data summarized way. This method is much simpler and shorter than the encoding method above. In this method, you have room (or anywhere you want to show the result of the sum) D 1 and the point of your selection will have to type: = SUM (A1: C1). This as you used above formula will give the same results. It integrates an arithmetic function, Microsoft Excel and as many cells as the amount you want to use.
Speak version of the SUM function, you can combine the two methods mentioned above totals. For example, if you want to add cells A1 through C1 and E8, you would type: "= (A1: C1, E8) SUM" "+ E8 = SUM (C1 A1)." These two formulas give the same output or the cell where you type the formula displays the results.
However, the SUM function used in Excel, very useful if the function should be in your bag of tricks Excel workbook. Actually, IF function to test if a condition is true or false and then as an input or calculated data is an action.
First, IF function structure (syntax) to look at. As with other functions of Excel, we are = (equal) to begin with, the function name followed by an open parenthesis, like = IF (IF function and structure of the argument.
= IF (you / assessment tests are, what really is wrong to do to you)
Officially, the syntactic structure /: = IF (logical test, [value_if_true], [value_if_false])
For example, if we want to calculate an analysis that, if the total is greater than or equal to $ 1,000 and a bonus of $ 100 is entered in the formula cell, otherwise, is a bonus. The formula looks like this: = IF (> = 1000, 100, 0 B 2) where B2 value being evaluated. As other sources, the results will be updated if the values are changed. And, as other sources, the calculation can be copied down or across to calculate the additional value.
The results of the IF function can be a text input for you = IF (B14 E14 =, "OK", "compelling need"). The data in this example, you might want to filter for the control of such party, if both values are the same cell, the result is "right" answer or "compelling need." Note that text entries with a comma quotes the formula (to create a string) are surrounded by. Note that if you add spaces after the comma does not matter.
