There is so much to enjoy in and around Aragon which is a former great kingdom of the Mediterranean. Aragon comprises 3 provinces; namely, Zaragoza, Huesca and Teruel. This community is distinctly marked by varying landscapes such as vast lush plains and countryside.

Zaragoza

This is Aragon’s capital that is located at Ebro River. Zaragoza is a leading city in Spain which was of great influence in the Roman era as well as during Moorish times. Huesca

This is the Aragonese Pyrenees capital standing majestic on a hill that overlooks the vast and fruitful orchards that are irrigated by Isuela River. There is the old and the new in Huesca where a lot of civil buildings are found to be of Aragonese Renaissance architecture. The whole development works of modernization in Huesca paint a pretty picture for the region.

A lot of historical sites can be found in Aragon. Some of the more distinctive sights include San Pedro El Viejo that sports an interesting Romanesque cloister and a Gothic retable with the sepulchers of the kings of Aragon.
