Ecija: This beautiful town is situated in the middle of Cordoba Province and Seville Province. Ecija is known to be a traditional city with number of beautiful and historical palaces like Condes de Valverde and Marqueses de Penaflor Palace. This city was called as Astigi during the Moorish rule over the place and you will also find here the famous Arabian Baths. The city has a great wall with two doors Puerta Cerrada and Puerta Del Puente, and this wall was constructed during the Moorish rule over the city. Ecija is also known as The City of Towers as there are many churches with towers including Iglesia de Santiago, Convento de las Teresas and many others. Santiponce: Santiponce is located at a distance of eight kilometers from Seville and the town is famous for the Italica Roman Ruins. Italica is a town which was established by Publius Scipio during two hundred BC and the famous Roman Rulers Hadrian and Trajan were also born in this town. There are many remains of the Roman era found in this place including the amphitheatre and the residual of the residential houses. Number of mosaics, statutes and other residuals of the Roman times which were located in the town, are now placed in the Archeological Museum of Seville and in the Condesa de Lebrija Palace. San Isidoro del Campo Monastery is another worth visiting place in Santiponce as this monastery was constructed in beautiful and traditional Mudejar and Gothic design and the interior of the monastery is also famous for some spectacular art work. Pickman Museum is another worth visiting place inside Santiponce, vakantievilla spanje and this is situated in the ceramic factory. Here you can watch the procedure of making variety of ceramics and other traditional pieces. Osuna: This is a historical dukedom which is located at a distance of eighty six kilometers from Seville and the town is known for Pantheon of Dukes of Osuna, which are very popular for the artistic work. Carmona: Carmona is located at a distance of 33 kilometers from the city of Seville and is know for the beautiful Carmona Town and its wonderful fortification. Carmona was established by Carthaginians originally but later on Roman re-established this town. Roman Necropolis and Town Walls are those historical places which are still conserved in the town. Alcazar Palace is another worth visiting place which was originally built by Romans but later on Moors re-structured the building.
