Expanding the business

My catering business is doing very well, I’ve been getting more than 2 orders in a week which is great and it keeps me busy. After I lost my job, I didn’t take it very well, I got depressed and didn’t get out the house for a few months. My family helped me through my tough times, now I have a successful business and I am very grateful. I run my business from home; my mum helps me with the cooking when I get an order but as the business is growing, we are starting to struggle to keep up with orders. After I discussed it with my family, I decided that I’ll bring in a partner to lighten the load and make sure the clients are always happy. As it’s the clients that keep the business going, it is my priority to give them exactly what they ask for. And maybe even more. My best friend has been asking me to be a partner since I began but I’ve been refusing as I was able to do it on my own. So now that I need help, I asked her if the offer was still there, she said yes and straight away got herself involved. We have decided to rent a small kitchen as we are getting more orders and the kitchen in my flat is tiny, we are also looking at used vans in Edinburgh as we are taking the food in a small car at the moment but the orders are getting bigger.
