Within one week I had the most fascinating set of extreme experiences. The topic was cutting cords of attachment, a form of spiritual reading that heals. Expecting too little is the category for the first part of this series of posts. "I work with my cords every day," said my friend "Sylvia." She's a professional Reiki healer and teacher. She's talented and, mostly, knowledgeable. Intuitive reading is her daily bread. How could she not know more about cutting cords of attachment? Her statement is symptomatic of a very widespread problem in the metaphysical healing community. So many otherwise well-trained healers have… I'll be blunt… a kindergarten understanding about cords of attachment. They know enough to appreciate that cords of attachment are bad. A cord is a structure between two people's auras, causing toxic flows go back and forth between these two people. Newbies also know that cutting cords is good. It frees people up, somehow. With more knowledge, say being skilled at aura readings, people start to appreciate the difference it makes to cut even one cord of attachment. www.selfgrowth.com, Wonderful though the energy fields of both people may be, only the most negative and destructive energies flow through a cord. Cutting this will not remove the unconditional love between people. But cutting a cord is not like the old psychoanalysis, where you must work on this project really diligently. You don't need five sessions a week for 10 years. You don't even need two sessions, provided that the healer in charge has done a competent job. Did you ever have your tonsils removed? How about a cavity? Must you return to the practitioner on a regular basis for maintenance? With all respect, anyone who must "work on cords" on a daily basis has been the victim of spiritual malpractice. You can learn to do better. Check out the 12 Steps to Cut Cords of Attachment® in my new book, Cut Cords of Attachment: Heal Yourself and Others with Energy Spirituality. nwww.selfgrowth.com, I also invite you to consider my upcoming Intensive on Energy Healing, February 29 – March 2. nhttp://www.roserosetree.com/study.htm#HealingIntensive This is an excellent way for beginners to start learning how to heal energy fields, improve clarity of aura readings, and gain higher accuracy for doing any kind of intuitive reading. You can follow this up, or just go straight for, my Intensive on Cutting Cords, March 14-16, www.selfgrowth.com, Blog-Buddies, have you had any experience of having a cord of attachment cut properly? I'm hardly the only practitioner or the only one to teach this skill. Let's collect experiences here, good and bad: Has anyone taught you to, supposedly, cut cords again and again? Have you had the benefit of removal of a cord of attachment by a skilled practitioner? Has that practitioner been you? Share your stories here: www.selfgrowth.com Together, n we can raise consciousness about Cutting Cords of Attachment all over the Internet. Today's theme is this: "How often does a cord of attachment need to be cut?"nn
