Mandalay is the second largest city in Myanmar. It is also the former capital. The city is known for its culture and its religious significance. This is also the city where he took the King Thi Paw, the last king of Burma, the British Government in India in 1885. It was built in the 19th century by an engineer called U Bein. The place is quiet and inhabited by local residents, mostly farmers from the village. The bridge was originally made of concrete, but later replaced in some areas with teak. Still remains intact and serves locals and visitors to the site. It is measured a quiet exit from the noisy city.
