Often times, acupuncture is combined with herbs. Acupuncture is a safe treatment as long as it is done by a qualified practitioner using single use needles and clean needle technique. Acupuncture involves inserting tiny needles in specific points on a body. The points in which the tiny needles are inserted on are on the meridian lines.
