Breast structure in females is one of the basic dimensions of femininity. Women breasts start growing since puberty till menopause. These changes are essential as woman enters in different stages of life like adolescence, pregnancy, breastfeeding and menopause. rnBreast structure in women is composed of different tissues and glandular structure but most important are lobules and ducts. Lobules formulate the milk producing of the breasts and ducts are responsible for transporting the milk to the nipples. Both of these are the fundamental parts of female breasts. As ducts and lobules are significantly important parts of breasts at the same time these are highly targeted areas for breast cancer attack.rnBreast cancer is although a lifetime risk for women that means it can develop at any age but there are some factors which add to this risk. Presence of these factors is directly associated with breast cancer development. Having Breast Cancer Earlier In Past If you ever experienced breast cancer in past then there are more likely chances of breast cancer redevelopment in you. Once even after treated well it can recur at any time. The reason of breast cancer happening again can be presence of some abnormal cells overlooked during treatment, extensive exposure to the risk factors. A Blood Relation With Breast Cancer Women with a blood relative having breast cancer are at increased breast cancer risk because of the genetic characteristics inherited from parents to their next generations. Menstruation At Very Young Age Early menstruation is associated with increased levels of estrogen that is responsible for cancer cells growth if exceeded beyond a safe level important for women sex needs. Late Childbearing Women who had their first child after 29 are at higher breast cancer risk than the women who had their first kid at younger age. Density In Breast Tissue Dense breast tissues are not only featured as exposed to breast cancer but are difficult to be authentically examined on mammogram and hence in case of denser tissue mammogram is not capable of detecting breast cancer presence. Being Overweight Obesity refers to the weight of a person that exceeds a normal level. An increased in weight beyond a normal levels is associated with development of different diseases. Obesity is seen as a fueling factor for breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Alcohol Intake One of the reasons, why in developed countries breast cancer cases are increasingly high, is the rate of alcohol consumption among women. Moderate level of alcohol intake for few times in life is not dangerous but a same intake over lifetime particularly among women is found to be linked with increased breast cancer risk. Late Menopause Women who entered menopause at 54 or before are at lower risk as compare to the women who received menopause after 54 it is again because of the long time exposure to estrogen and progesterone.rnThese are some of those factors which can increase a woman breast cancer risk, but being a woman and knowing that you are throughout your life at breast cancer risk, you should be regular in checking for your breasts for any change.
