Google for instance searches the content for keywords and phrases and depending on this, ranks the web page. Writing informative and keyword rich content increases visibility and automatically traffic to your website.
2.Obtaining links to the site you have created ensures search engine optimization. One way links can help when other webmasters offer a link to your site or if you exchange links with webmasters for a cost.
3.The domain name chosen must ideally be either a keyword or at the least indicative of what your content deals with and the audience you are targeting. It helps if the domain name is catchy and simple making it easy to remember.
4.A site map drawn carefully will allow users to navigate smoothly ensuring that they keep coming back to the website.
5.Heading tags should be ranked according to priority and when you plan the site contents care must be taken to see that this content flows in a way that reflects the heading tag structure. Many times search engines are seen to extract the meta report allowing guests to come to your site if it is linked to their search query.
6.The URL structure has to correspond to the content on the parallel page.
Apart from the contents, title too plays an important part. Many directories and search engines first target the titles and the tags. So it is of utmost importance that relevant keywords or phrases are included in the title tags.
