Faith

Whenever I encounter a life event that is beyond my human comprehension, I rely on these two scriptures:

"Trust in ADONAI with all of your heart. Lean not towards your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts and your ways are not my ways, says ADONAI. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways."
Isaiah 55:8-9

Human knowledge is confined to the box of human understanding graciously given to us by our Creator, ELOHIM. Human knowledge is finite. However, the knowledge of ADONAI expands beyond the universe and ete
ity. It is infinite. It is impossible to understand the mind, ways & perceptions of GOD. Even the angels in heaven cannot comprehend the vastness of the mind of GOD.
ADONAI is the creator of all that is seen and unseen. Only ADONAI was never created!! How can creation grasp the uniquely intricate, supe
atural perceptions and the vastness of the mind of GOD. To think that one can do this is arrogant.

Leaning to one's own understanding is dangerous. It opens the door to ambiguity and doubt created by the boundaries of human finite knowledge. It leads to rationalization that is confined to the finite box of human comprehension.

Leaning to one's own understanding is DANGEROUS! It can give birth to false perceptions, anxiety, and resentment towards the Most High GOD. This is how many become athiest and agnostic.

Men cannot please GOD without faith. We must trust GOD the way an infant trusts its parents for survival. This is the kind of faith ADONAI wants us to have. ADONAI gives us a measure of knowledge and wisdom that we can handle in our human flesh. All knowledge and wisdom comes from GOD. The wisdom of men is foolishness to our omnipotent Creator.

"Trusting is being confident of what we hope for, convinced of things we do not see." Hebrews 11:1

"By trusting, we understand taht the universe was created through a spoken word of GOD, so that what is seen did not come into being out of an existing phenomena." Hebrews 11:3

"By trusting Abraham obeyed, after being called to go out to a place which GOD would give him as a possession. He went without knowing where he was going." Hebrews 11:8

Abraham had the faith of a child. We cannot please GOD without having the faith of a child.

"Yeshua said to them, if you have faith as a grain of a mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain move from here to there & it will move & nothing will be impossible to you." Matthew 17:20

Most people think about the size of the mustard seed without grasping the deeper meaning of Yeshua's teaching. Yeshua was talking about the potency within a grain of a mustard seed. If you place a teaspoon of mustard on your tongue, it will burn like fire. The potency of a grain of a mustard seed is more powerful than that because it is pure. Yeshua wants us to have faith that is as potent as that in a grain of a mustard seed. This is the kind of faith that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob had.
