“The finest clothing made is a person's skin, but, of course, society demands something more than this.”
- Mark Twain
Men are judged by the clothes they wear. This makes it essential for them to make sure that they buy apparel from the right brands.
Below mentioned are some men’s online stores that have succeeded in attracting men towards them.
1. Burton:
This UK high street clothing retailer has been in this business since 1903. Their online shopping logo is a mark of quality and discreet wealth. It consists of the company name in thin and black fonts with sharp edges that look business like and intimidating. To soften the effect of the emblem, there is an intricately designed letter B accompanying the business name. The curvy type face of the letter adds a delicate touch to it that makes the entire monogram imaginative and sophisticated. The use of black and white colors for the brand mark makes it classic and ageless.
2. Brooks brothers:
This is one of the oldest men’s retailer brands in America. Their emblem is designed to be imaginative, intricate and smart. The type face used for the text of the company name is curvy and scripted which makes the monogram imaginative and artistic. There is an image of a golden fleece in the monogram that is suspended in a ribbon which has been a symbol of British wool merchants. Overall, this image depicts tradition, history and sophistication. The golden fonts on a royal blue background look noble and majestic.
3. Merc:
This is a famous British company that specializes in Mod clothing. Their brand mark consists of simple and thick fonts in off-white color with a maroon background. The monogram also consists of an image of the letter M crafted in thick type that is also made to look like a man. Although this image isn’t normally seen in the monogram anymore, it is still a symbol that distinguishes this corporation from others.
4. Charles Tyrwhitt:
This is a famous but relatively new British retailer that has created its brand mark to be simple and sophisticated. The emblem contains the business name in blue colored, double lined and straight fonts that are chic and classy. There is a small abstract design beneath the company name that makes it imaginative and unique. The style, colors and the placement of the monogram is perfect to represent a men’s clothing business.
5. Neiman Marcus:
This is also a luxury specialty retail store in America that has expanded into an online business. Their trademark is a scripted text of the company name that resembles a signature. They have maintained the same emblem since its establishment which has now become a sign of class and luxury.
6. Lord & Taylor:
This US based specialty retail department and online store is one of the oldest in the business. Although their trademark sign is hardly legible due to its scripted fonts, it is still one of the mall logos that are recognized all over the world.
rnTo conclude, in the words of James Laver;
“Clothes are never a frivolity: they always mean something.”
