Shape Magazine recently included a great article talking about an investigation which was conducted on mice to test the effects of the hormone orexin on fat reduction. It appears that a deficit of this particular hormone is associated with weight problems. In the study, mice that had been genetically programmed to be lacking in orexin gained a lot more weight as compared to typical mice, even though taking in a lower number of calories!! Even though a lot of subscribers were doubtful about this write-up and failed to see just how this information could be helpful, I wasn't one of them. The reason why?? Mainly because of a book called The Four-Hour Body. The Four-Hour Body is a publication written by efficiency specialist Tim Ferriss, to explain how you can more rapidly and easily trigger the kind of physiological improvements a person wish to see... How Can This Work For Me Personally?? In his research, Mr. Ferriss discovered that there are two types of fat: white adipose tissue (WAT) and brown adipose tissue (BAT). It seems that BAT can burn off extra calories as heat, calories which normally might contribute to your muffin top or your bubble butt. Since BAT generates warmth, it can be activated by cold. This doesn't mean that the answer is to freeze to death. The magic formula lies in knowing the "where" and the "how." There is a harsher strategy, and there's a easy approach that Tim teaches.
