Listen to that voice inside your head, "You can do it!" You know you can do it, what's stopping you? Is it fear? What are you afraid of? It’s failing. Fear of failing is always the biggest obstacle in anybody's path to realizing his or her success. But why should you let that obstacle stop you? Obstacles are good for only one reason, for us to overcome them. So go around it, go over it, go under it, or smash right through it! There is no obstacle, no wall, no gate, no anything too big to get over, under, around, or through. The only thing stopping you from making that first step is your Self. But deep down inside you know that it is possible. There's that little voice telling you that you can do it

I'm sure that the first 4000 people that attempted climbing to the top of Mt. Everest, all of their families, and all of their friends were completely skeptical about the summit ever being reached. Oh I'm sure that those first 4000 climbers heard their little voice, but their fear of failing was too strong. Your determination, willpower, discipline, desire has to, absolutely has to overcome your fear of failing, or your goals will never be reached. Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay were not bigger, stronger, or more experienced. They didn't have the most expensive or the newest equipment. They simply had one thing, desire. Their desire was so large, that their fear of failing couldn't even stand a chance. For that reason and that reason alone, they were the first to reach the summit. Now go climb your mountain. Find ways to feed your desire, motivate yourself. Listen to that voice inside your head, "You can do it!" Now is your time to climb, but what’s the best path?

Albert Einstein said it himself, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” So imagine your life as a book; you are the main character and the author. It is the book of “You”. You have read and know every page up until Now. Every page from this point on is blank and you begin to accept the fact that you are the only that can decide what the pages look like. Own that responsibility, just for an instance, own your Life. Now flip to the very last page, write your ending. What does it look like? How beautiful is the top of that mountain? What does it feel like to have acquired EVERYTHING you have ever wanted, everything your heart has ever desired? Know deep within your heart and soul that the ending of this book is already written, there is no going back, and there is no changing it. You have already made up your mind that this is exactly how you want your Life to be completed. Flip back to Now. Looking through the blank pages, you realize they are infinite, you realize that what you write today is only going to lead you to tomorrow, and tomorrow is just one step closer to the ending of your book. There is no wrong way to climb a mountain, as long as your intention is always facing up. You are the author; nobody else has that type of power over you. You and you alone are in control. Don't let anyone ever let you think different. Don't ever let anyone tell you, you can't do something. If you have a dream, go get it, go write your book!

I was watching my six and nine year old daughters playing the other morning when suddenly there was a barrage of I Hate You and I Don't Like You Anymore statements flying about the room. Of course, it was just a moment of disagreement in child play, but the thoughts and feelings were real enough to them at that moment.
