One evening an Old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside all people. He said “my son the battle between two wolves live inside us all.
One is evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, arrogance, self pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.
The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.
The Grandson thought for a moment and then asked his Grandfather “which wolf wins?”
The Old Cherokee simply replied “the one you feed.”nn~Cherokee proverb
What a simple story to bring a attention to the power of our thoughts. How often do we let a negative thought or feeling over take us until we feel so badly that we think we cant do anything right. Reliving past mistakes or worrying about the future all feed that “evil wolf.” Sometimes this kind of thinking can turn into a pattern or worse, a way of life, until we only see ourselves and the world from a negative place. We forget all about the “good wolf.”

There is a very interesting pattern that I see in many people and that is their deep belief that they are not good enough and therefore they cannot accept themselves. As hard as they try to “feel better” this core belief still lives.
Until this part of you is healed you can see how negative thoughts can accumulate. Its pretty hard to feed the “good wolf” with this kind of core belief.

So what do you do?

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to the rescue. This technique works beautifully on taming and healing that “evil wolf” addressing all those negative thoughts that keep you stuck and feeling badly.

Naturally and simply EFT can turn suffering into serenity.

Are you tired of struggling? Are you ready to change? Give Emotional Freedom Technique a try.

I encourage you to find a qualified practitioner (like myself) to work with. That “evil wolf” can be very tricky and a professional can be exactly what you need.

Together, we will start feeding the “good wolf” because that is who you really are.
