We are very familiar with and greatly respect Feng
Shui, the ancient art of placement. We’ve hired topnlocal Feng Shui experts to assist us with our homesnand offices and we both feel that it was worth thencost.

We have found that, through years of experimentation, nthe placement of objects in your home and the designnof the home itself is important and helps you capitalizenon, and make the most of your fate.

There are, however, some problems with modern Feng
Shui, in our opinion. First, there are three or moren“schools” or methods, and the different methods’nprinciples often clash with each other.

For instance, each says that the “love area” is in andifferent place in our respective homes. Thendirectional/compass method (which we’ve noticednseems to offer the most accuracy) reports that it isnthe southwest corner. However, the front door methodndictates that it is in the far forward, right corne
while standing at the front door facing inside.

Furthermore, one method might convey not to have anlight in a certain corner of the home. Then a differentnmethod might suggest that it’s important to have a verynbright light in that same corner.

Perhaps Feng Shui is like astrology and numerologynwhere many of its greatest techniques and wisdom havenbeen lost through many translations over the centuries.

Many Feng Shui practitioners, in our experience, eithe
deny or just don’t understand the concepts of karma andnpredestination. If a person is determined (by their higher-nself/soul before birth, not their personality during thisnlife) to live a life of obscurity, no amount of plants, ncolor, harmony, etc. in their home will make them famous.

Also, if a person is fated to live a life of humility, nbarely getting by, having to endure temporary or even long-nterm poverty, no amount of Feng Shui cures will erase thatnand make them a millionaire.

Too many of today’s Feng Shui experts say things such as,
“add some color and a crystal (or whatever) in this partnof your home and attract big money!” or “Beautify and addnsome flowers to your love area and attract the love of you
life!”

We absolutely see the value of harmonious placement andnthere are many professionals and good Feng Shui booksnavailable to assist with this, and we feel it’s possiblento enhance life and make the most of the path your soulnchose in spirit form before inca
ating, but a personncan’t erase fate through even the best Feng Shui methods.

Someone might point to “proof” that Feng Shui “overcamenfate,” and “created miracles,” yet through objectivenobservation, the Feng Shui methods only directlynsymbolized what was to be. Even “miracles” are fated.
Those same “miracle cures” do not work for everyonenunless someone is fated to experience what the curesnare supposed to help accomplish.

We make this statement through observing many Feng Shuinresidence and office layouts relative to our own andnothers’ lives (specifically regarding money and love)nsince the early 1990’s. More than anything, it appearsnto us that Feng Shui largely represents fate.

As we have said repeatedly, adversity and challenge existnin people’s lives for a reason, which usually relates tonpersonal and spiritual growth.

What if you try to manipulate your fate by choosing a newnhome based on a favorable Feng Shui layout? We feel that’snfated too. Those who are supposed to apply the wisdom of
Feng Shui are fated to do so and the homes or offices theynchoose are all a part of fate, no matter how it manifests.

In short, just as putting up holiday decorations do notnmanifest the holiday season, for the most part, Feng Shuinarrangements don’t make things happen, but they cannsymbolize situations and circumstances in your life.

According to the spiritual science of Akram Vignan, the meaning of ‘selfless’ is to live one’s life for the sole purpose of serving others, by whatever means one can and according to one’s skill set and ability; and to do so without expecting anything whatsoever in return. Param Pujya Dadashri, the founder of Akram Vignan, makes us understand how every living being’s life should be, through an illustration of the tree: “Do any of the fruit trees eat their own frui
