Many iPad owners eventually come up with tons of repair issues and their requests for easy troubleshooting repairs. The parts that don’t work in the beginning as intended are often considered as defective right away, but in reality some simple and easy troubleshooting can resolve the issues.
All minor issues related to an iPad during its repair like discolored iPad LCD or decreased Wi-Fi strength can be easily rectified by running some simple troubleshooting during the repairing process. This can also save you time, money and the hassle of returning a working part back to your supplier or the manufacturer.

Troubleshooting guide 1- Issue: LCD of the iPad is very dark. Sometimes after the repairing process the iPad screen looks dark and dim and you may think it’s a major issue, but following the below mentioned steps can reset the LCD backlight and resolve the problem.
Step 1: Make sure that your iPad has a charge. The best trick is to connect the iPad to a computer to see the charge level in iTunes. After you have checked with the charge you can move on to the next step.
Step 2: Reset your iPad by holding down the power button and the home button for fifteen seconds till you see the Apple logo. This is a very simple and easy process of troubleshooting the iPad, this can solve many software and hardware issues.
Step 3: In case the above step does not resolve the backlight issue, then you may need to first power down the iPad. Following this you would have to disassemble the iPad and reinsert the LCD ribbon cable into the logic board connector. Following which you can repeat the first and second steps.
Step 4: Change the iPad LCD after you have finished the previous steps and confirmed that the iPad does show up in iTunes when plugged in. Still, if the new LCD does not fix the problem, you probably have a damaged iPad logic board.
Troubleshooting guide 2- Issue: Reduced 3G/4G/WIFI signal strength. You may notice a reduction in the signal strength for WIFI or mobile data in your iPad, this may mean a damaged antenna. The damage to the iPad WIFI antenna that is located just to the right of the home button is usually more common than the cellular antenna damage.
Step 1: Have a vivid look on each antenna for any sign of damage, remember even the slightest rip or tear can reduce the signal strength.
Step 2: Next in order to test the proper signal strength, compare the signal levels of the iPad you are troubleshooting to another working iPad. If in case the signal loss is established, then you need to complete the following steps.
Step 3: This step would require the replacement of damaged WIFI or cellular antenna. Though there are many methods of repairing the rip and tear in the antenna, but the best option is to just get the antenna replaced.
All these simple and easy tips and ways can definitely help you a lot to deal with issues related to your iPad repair.
