Limit your time swimming in chlorinated water, as the chlorine can also dehydrate and damage skin cells. Be sure to shower after swimming or sunbathing.
PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE.
If dealing with flabby or loose skin, it is important to be patient as your body adapts to fit your new size. Keep in mind how much weight you’ve lost and if your skin may be able to return to its original state.
Elasticity reacts differently at different stages in life. A young mother who just gave birth and is contending with loose skin may only require little bit of effort to tighten up the skin. For a 50 year old who has just lost weight in a short amount of time, the skin may not get back to its original state due to age.
It is important to realize this and accept it. Appreciate yourself for losing weight and accept your skin’s condition in the process of tightening it.
