FiIVE TIPS FOR MAKING YOUR NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS WORK

Do you know the best way to turn your New Year resolutions into reality? Create a visual map for 2010 by designing your own vision board as seen on Oprah and Larry King.

YOUR VISION BOARD CAN HELP YOU: • To make 2010 the best year ever, despite the economy. • To find more love and spice up your sex life by designing a couple’s vision board. • To get the job of your dreams or start your own business. • To tap into the power of an ancient ritual called visioning like Jim Carrey did to make $20 million and more.

TIPS FOR MAKING YOUR NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS WORK:

1) Spend some time visioning your success. Fast-forward to when you have succeeded in your resolution to quit smoking. Breath in the air (it helps if you're at the seashore to do this exercise) and say the words I am thankful I'm now smokefree!

2) ACT AS IF: do you dream of owning a yacht? Well, get as close as possible to that dream NOW. Go down to a Marina and walkl around the yachts. Pick up some yacht magazins and read them. Go online and follow the path of a yacht around teh world.

3) IMMERSE YOURSELF -- yes, immerse yourself into your resolution. Want to travel to India? Then make some Indian curry. Buy some Indian CDs, Watch Bollywood DVDs. Literally experience some of the flavors, smells and colors of your dream.

4) USE POSITIVE SELF TALK: cut out the negatives rather than you're not going to eat candy for lunch or not going to skip breakfast say I eat healthy snacks, I enjoy my oatmeal for breakfast. Be as specific as possible with your own self-talk and also what you say to others.

4) CREATE A VISION BOARD FOR JUST ONE OF YOUR RESOLUTIONS: Focus closely on that one goal. Say it's to lose weight. Rather than keep telling yourself you are losing weight use an affirmation that encourages you like "I am eating healthy foods", I am full of energy, And put those affirmations on your vision board in your own hand-writing!

5) BE INSPIRED BY NEW QUOTES FROM ROLE MODELS: Maya Angelou, the famous poet and a friend of Oprah's says, "Tell life" I am with you kid" and take it by the lapels and just GO!
