If you live in a rural or mountain area, often traveling outside the city, or perhaps just stay where cell phone reception is not enough, there are a few things you should know before buying a new or used cell phone. Poor reception is one of the most common complaints is within or adjacent to his or her natural or lack of cell towers in the water affect the received signal quality. So before you buy a refurbished cell phone and sign up with the carrier, here are some things to keep in mind to make sure that you get from your service.
Avoid computer service providers
Most people do not know, but the cell phone service providers have to work on two different frequencies. It has 800 megahertz (MHz) and 1900 megahertz (MHz).
800 MHz, twice the power and range up to 1900 MHz. If you decide to stay in the city, you do not have to worry about this issue. But - 1900 MHz (PCS or services) are cheaper, people who live in the city, which means they can pay less for the service provider, they are currently with. If you need help from the city, you need a service provider who will operate the 800 MHz frequency, and at 1900 MHz.
