There are different forms of communication. People send letters by snail mail, they send electronic mails, they send text messages and they even send telegrams; but the most sincere and effective way to communicate is by verbal means. People best express their emotions and intentions by talking. People located in far places may make local, long distance and international calls. Local calls are those that are made within the same area code while long distance calls are those that are made and received outside the area code. International calls are those made from one country to another. rnThe most expensive type of phone call is international calls while local calls are the cheapest. Long distance calls are normally charged on top of the regular call charges. Making international and local calls don’t need to be expensive. There are consumers who need to make lots of calls everyday but not everybody can afford pay per use rates. Consumers who want to make cheap international calls may choose contract accounts. Contracts or postpaid accounts are offered a much lower rate than prepaid accounts. Postpaid subscribers don’t need to go through the hassle of buying calling cards or calling their service providers to top up. Instead of all the hassle, subscribers will just receive bills every month. Subscribers may also enroll their accounts in automatic debit facilities using their credit or debit cards. Some providers also take checking accounts as a mode of payment for automatic deduction. rnThe plans for contract accounts include unlimited incoming calls during day time and weekdays plus 1000 minutes for international calls for the whole day, unlimited incoming calls during the day and 1000 minutes for both incoming and outgoing calls during night time and weekends, unlimited incoming local. Long distance and international calls and outgoing ones are charged pay per use and pay per use charging for incoming calls and outgoing local, long distance and international calls are unlimited. Consumers may choose from several companies and a wide variety of plans and bundles. They must choose plans according to their budget, their needs, how often they make local and international calls, how many minutes they talk on the phone or if they make more incoming or outgoing calls. rnPopualar providers also offer cheap calls to Europe, Canada and US. Plans and pacakges may not be offered, but the rates are competititve and affordable. Aside from the rates, fees, charges and plans, consumers need to consider the clarity of conversations. They should not get services or plans that offer cheap international calls and affordable calling cads, but they would end up dissatisfied because their calls keep getting disconnected or their voice may cut in and out during their calls because of poor coverage or weak signal. Consumers can check this by taking advantage of free trials or by reading reviews that other consumers may have posted about different providers. Consumers normally post about their experiences about products and services. There are also websites that help consumers compare services, packages and rates. They may also set an appointment so they can discuss their concerns and questions with highly trained service specialists
