The MTV episode of True Life: I Hate My Large Breasts just aired where I made a cameo offering lady an alternative to surgery. You can see me speaking with her about the fact that she just needs confidence and working out can help that. There are some scenes of us working out as well. Anyways, this brings me to my point that fitness is a form of confidence. Becca wasn’t feeling confident about herself because she believed her breasts were too large. But as I said in the episode, whenever I begin training people, I always tell them fitness isn't about looking a certain way. It’s about feeling healthier and better about yourself. And one of the best things about training people is seeing the results of achieving a better, more healthier lifestyle. But what happens when you lose the weight? What about all your "former" clothes? I had the opportunity to meet David A. McKnight, a certified image consultant and published fashion stylists based in NYC. He actually specializes in helping women find new clothes and fashions to better fit their healthier body. One of the things David said (and I agree) is that when people lose weight and they trash the old clothes, its kind of therapeutic. You see all your clothes that fit your former self and throwing them away, which is like saying you’re not looking back as your old self and only moving forward with your new healthier lifestyle. Don’t you agree? Throwing away those old clothes and replacing it with new ones can make you smile. The fact that you’re buying clothes that are more form fitting and more “instyle” just feels good. I’m going to keep this post short and save more tips for your new wardrobe to fit your healthier body next time. If you can’t wait for my next post on how to style your new healthier body, you can contact David by visiting his web site at www.damstyle.com.

For many, this is why exercise has always been more than fitness; it’s therapy through motion. But not all movement heals. Some styles exhaust, others distract. True healing often begins in the slow, intentional kind, the kind that lets the body lead and the mind follow.rnThat’s where precision-based training, such as re
