If you can invest some time and effort now into writing and submitting articles to article directories then you can enjoy the benefits for years to come.
Article marketing is one of the most effective methods for marketing products or websites online. By submitting numerous articles around the different directories you are providing links pointing back to your website which will increase you sites popularity.
If your website has many backlinks pointing to it, it can help to gain a good position in the search engines. You will receive even more love from the search engines by getting those backlinks from directories that have high page rankings in Google.
That is why you should do article marketing to promote your website, and now here are some tips to help make your articles successful.
1. Have a great headline for your article. When you are searching for information on a topic and you find 10 results you would usually click on the one with the best headline right? A headline that grabs the attention of the searcher is the headline that they will click. So this is the first step to a successful article, having a great headline that will attract visitors to read your article.

2. Keep your article simple and easy to understand. If I’m searching for information and find an article that is really technical and hard to follow, I will usually go back and search for something else. People want information that is easy for them to read and understand.

3. Give the reader the answer they are looking for, but only to a small extent. You want to keep your readers happy so you want to give them the information that they are looking for. However, you don’t want to give them all the information that they want or they will have no reason to click your link and head back to your site. So give them enough to keep them interested, but leaving it so that they want to know more and will visit your website to learn more.

4. Have a great ‘call to action’ in your resource box. Don’t fill up your resource box with your life story and who you are, this isn’t what your readers are looking for. Your readers want an answer and your resource box needs to tell them that if they click on that link they will get the answer that they are looking for.

5. If you are using PLR articles, then make sure that you rewrite them to make them unique before submitting them to article directories. Most good article directories won’t accept your articles it they are PLR and there are 10,000 other copies of that article around the internet.

Article marketing is a very important element of internet marketing and I recommend that you do use it. It is very effective and also free, unless you plan to outsource your article writing, making it a popular marketing method.
Article marketing can make you a very successful internet marketer.
