Flightradar24 is an application that allows you to check the status of any flight in the world in real time. Searches can be made by flight number, airport, or route. It allows you to check the arrivals and departures -previous and current-, the terminal to which you arrive or from which the plane departs, the status and the collection of luggage. The most relevant is usually the status of the flight to know if it has landed or if it is en route. In this last case, it is very practical to know also if the flight will arrive on time or if it is delayed. This information can be very useful, for example, if we have been to pick someone up.rnIn some cases -especially if you fly over the airspace of the United States, Canada and Europe- the tracking goes even further, and offers the exact coordinates in longitude and latitude of the place where the plane is located, the speed at which that it flies, the height, the distance that separates it from the place of origin and the one that remains until the place of destination. All this in real time and, if that were not enough, accompanied by a map that indicates the route followed by the plane and the exact point at which it is located. The application also includes general information about any airport, the exact address-ideal for GPS-, the local time, a small report on the rate of delays, and a brief reference to the local temperature. The interface is only available in English, but it is so intuitive that language is never an obstacle. Flightradar24 is available for Android, and also allows you to send Google an SMS with the flight number. In turn, the search engine will return the status of the flight in a text message.

For airport information, remember that

: The flight information is indicative for the passenger and may be modified and updated by the airport. Please always check the last minute information on the airport screens.rnThe flight's billing schedule is the one indicated in the confirmation email of the purchase, regardless of the final departure time. The status information of the flights is updated every 10 minutes. If you want to know the status of a flight operated by another company you can do it through its website or app.
