This system does not require any special edging on the planks, nor is there a use of the adhesives. The planks are instead attached together with the help of a special milled interlocking system. The floating flooring method has remained to be one of the most hassle free method of flooring given the fact that it is very fast and can be accomplished by anyone with little knowledge about working with wooden flooring. It can be completed within hours. Not only does it save the time but also the money spent on human labor. There is a wide range of wood that can be fitted in the floating flooring like the hardwood, cork, bamboo etc. Floating floors have the added advantage in the areas where the humidity varies. The floating floor planks do not expand on high humidity and vice versa but instead expand and contract with the changes in humidity as a single cohesive unit keeping them well fastened.
