Florence is situated in Italy, and it is famous as the center of art and culture. It has also become famous for high fashion that is excellent silk goods and leather, beautiful parks, great cuisine, tourism and warm and friendly people. Situated in the heart of the central part of Tuscany, Florence is located in a valley encircled by rolling Tuscan hills. It is nearly 3-4 train ride north of Rome and 1 hour journey from Pisa. It is also home to many great prominent legends like Michelangelo Buonarotti, Leonardo Da Vinci, Dante Allighieri and Niccolo' Machiavelli. You can found their inheritances all over the town. In the Academy Art Gallery, you can also see Michaelangelo's famous Statue of David, accomplish y the sculptor at age 26 after others had culled the marble block because of its imperfects.
