Whole grains are an essential part of a healthy diet because they contain fiber, proteins and carbohydrates. Health conscious people can switch to whole wheat, brown rice and quinoa because these grains are exceedingly healthy. They offer the added advantage of making the person who consumes them feel full for a very long time. Most people do not realize how tasty a healthy diet can be unless they try it out themselves.
