For The Overweights
For those that want to burn off those annoying fats that's been haunting you for many years, the time is now. I am glad that you have made up your mind to get your body back. What I would suggest is taking it slow. At first going to the gym can be tough. You may not know which equipment to use or what's better. I would say what would be better for you is to exercise in the pool. Exercising in the pool will have resistant effects on you, which will strengthen your body. Walking around in the pool will strengthen your legs and you will not have to feel the pressure on your knees while walking.
What you can do too is go for a walk at the park. It is not extreme, but it is baby steps to losing weight. If you want, go for a mile walk and that would get you on the right track to move on to the next level. If you feel up to it you may speed walk, which will get your heart rate going up a bit. Take it to the next level, just buy a treadmill and you don't have to leave the house. You can be in the comfort of your own home and train and nobody is watching you. Do not overdue yourself, your body has to adjust to the exercise.
For those that like martial arts or full contact sports, start shadow boxing. Shadow boxing is when you're swing your fist in the air strategically. Get your hands up as to cover your face and start to throw some jabs. As you throw jabs follow up with your knockout hand. As you're throwing jabs, move around in circles. Pretend that you have an opponent in front of you and you need to knock this person out. This exercise will tone the arms, shoulders and back. When moving around you will lose fat off the lower belly and build muscle in that area and legs. Remember, legs help burn a lot of calories, so you would want to move around a lot. Do this for 1 minute 3 rounds.
If you want more of a challenge, buy a punching bag. Hitting the punching bag will not only help you to lose weight, but will build endurance and power. The bag will let you know how far along you have come with your strength and endurance. By that I mean you can hit the bag for 1 minute 2 rounds and within a month you can last a lot longer by hitting it 2 minutes 3 rounds and so forth. I will also advise you to use side kicks on the bag. If you do not know how to do that, check it out on youtube. There are plenty of videos that will teach you how to do proper techniques on the bag. Doing it improperly will cause an injury and can limit your abilities in exercise. The reason side kicks are great is, because it will tone up your legs, build strength and your power will increase. Not only that, but you're working out your obliques, which means the love handles will no longer be handles. Besides, hitting the bag is a good way to release frustration and you're learning some self-defense, while having fun.
Here is also a simple exercise you can do. As your sitting down on a chair, I want you to stand up, now sit down, stand up, sit down, stand up and so forth until you get tired. You are burning a lot more calories with this exercise, because you are using your own body weight and it's making your legs work hard. If you have kids, run around with the kids. I guarantee you'll be exhausted and they won't of course. But it's an exercise that will get you moving in all different directions, burning calories, heart rate raised and you will have lots of fun doing it. Your kids will love you for that and will remember it when they get older.

Moving Meditation: How Precision-Based Exercise Supports Mental and Emotional Growth
Movement is one of the most honest forms of self-connection. The body never lies. It holds stress, records emotion, and reveals when something feels off. For many, this is why exercise has always been more than fitness; itâs therapy through motion. But not all movement heals. Some styles exhaust, others distract. True healing often begins in the slow, intentional kind, the kind that lets the body lead and the mind follow.rnThatâs where precision-based training, such as re
