First of all, you may not be able to find a gym to perform your exercise routine when you are overseas. Some working individuals who work from dawn to midnight may not be able to find a gym with opening hours which are able to cater to them. In such situations, you can perform body weight circuit exercises instead, which can actually be even more effective when it comes to helping you lose weight! Body weight circuit exercises which consist of push ups, chin ups and crunches are great for weight loss when they are done with minimal to no rest time between these exercises. This maintains a higher heart rate, which in turn maintains a higher metabolism, resulting in a quicker rate of fat loss.
Next, do not consume refined carbohydrates like white rice. There will be times where it is impossible to go without them, and in such situations, eat minimal amounts of them. Choose brown rice or sweet potatoes instead, they are less starchy and help you lose weight quicker. Make sure to keep carbohydrates intake mainly in the morning and early afte
oon, and decrease carbohydrates intake towards the end of the day.
It is also very important that you do not consume junk foods like French fries or carbonated drinks if losing fats is your goal. Such drinks and foods are high in trans-fats, which are fats that cannot be lost. Such foods and drinks are also full of empty calories, which are calories which do not contain any nutritional benefits.
Additionally, if you wish to take a snack, opt for healthy snacks like baked almonds or pistachios. These are actually great tasting foods which can also help to reduce your hunger without risking weight gain.
It is easy to lose weight regardless of the situations around you as long as you have the determination to do so, combined with a little imagination!
