Four Ways to Show Confidence

Sometimes confidence is the most important thing that you will need to show in order for others to show you the respect that you need. Sometimes you will have to show that you know more about something than you actually do only to make yourself seem stronger. Sometimes you will feel that you have to wear masks to look bigger than you truly are. – But you can do all that without having to lie or wear a mask. It is a choice that we make when we lie and cheat to show more depth of our personality. If you truly want to show confidence to attract people to you, you should use those following steps: 1- Show Your Talent: - Many of us do not believe in what we are good at. We see that we do and we compare them to things which are better; denying our very own talent. - But while we choose to hide what we are good at, we let others think that there is nothing that we good at. - You aren't the best, but as long as you have a specific skill then it will surely amuse others and give you out as a skilled person. People will not care of the depth of your skill or talent unless they are going to work with you. 2- Don't Show Hesitation: - Lack of self-confidence will show if you were being hesitant. At least that's what people think. - When you feel like you won't do something based on your knowledge of your own skill or talent then you should not hesitate saying no. If you say yes and you fail at doing it, people will think that you were only showing something which you do not truly have. - When you feel like you are capable of doing something then you should not hesitate either. 3- Don't be afraid of saying, "I don't know" - You only seem weak when you claim to know something that you do not have any knowledge about or experience with. - If people see that you are trying to convince them that you know more than you truly do, they will build barriers that would make them stop believing you. - However, if you say that you do not know, then you show your limits. 4- Don't be afraid of asking for help: - We all have our limits. - People often see the ones who ask for help as the more honest people. They choose to believe them when they say that they can do something even if they know where their limits are. - Asking for help does not degrade you in any way. You become one who would admit mistakes and flaws in their own eyes. At the end of the day, you want to seem to have a strong personality in any and every situation. You don't want people to look at you and think that you are a liar or one who wear masks to hide. You don't also want them to see you as a shy person who is afraid of his own abilities.
