I include similar content in my book titled - "Seven Fascinating Biblical Facts about Jesus Christ" (pub year-2011)

A quick answer to the title of this video, is NO! Nine scriptures from the Holy Bible are delved into, in this video to show Jesus did not have to be born-again in himself to become righteous before the Godhead (Father, Son and Holy Ghost).

It is we humans; all of humanity, who needed a savior because we are born into a fallen world. It is fallen due to the original sin of Adam and Eve. While this may sound like a pie-in-the-sky story, it absolutely is not! This condition we find ourselves in, is called the "sin nature", which indwells us, until we are "born again" in Jesus Christ. At this new birth, God takes the sin nature away from us.

This doesn't mean we do not sin as Christians, but it is no longer a master to us. Our sin after being saved in Christ, is not a vice to us. We do not live in exceeding, continual or habitual sin after the new birth. When we do sin while doing our best to struggle against it, we are convicted in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. We then simply confess that sin(s) to God in prayer, asking for, and receiving forgiveness. Jesus provided all of this but he at no point had to become a spiritually lost man to do so.
Following is one scripture on the subject I address in the video. Please not that I placed expositional words in brackets, within the Bible verse below, to distinguish them from the words of the Holy Scripture. - - -

1 Peter 1:23 “Being born again, not of corruptible seed (a sinner), but of incorruptible, by the word of God (Jesus), which liveth and abideth for ever.”

Here is another scripture related to the video content: - - -
1 Peter 3:18 "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:"

About the Author

I am a graduate of Liberty University (1996) for completion of theological studies (33 college credits) and I completed "Bible Survey" with Assemblies of God - Berean College. I consider myself a "Bapticostal" (a Baptist also having Pentecostal beliefs). Bible studies are one of my most-covered book subjects. I am, however, careful to only address those subjects I believe God has given me correct revelation on. I was a Christian Youth Minister, beginning in 1983 for approximately 18 years. During, between and after youth ministries I served in other church capacities as well, including interim pastoring and retirement home ministry. MOST IMPOTANTLY, I am a redeemed man, who has received salvation by acceptance of Jesus Christ.
