End-time Bible Prophecy events are currently happening before our very eyes, however, Jesus said of these things we see happening in the world now (this article year-2022); "All these are the beginning of sorrows." (Matthew 24:8). Things will be getting much worse in the world, but I believe, as do many Christians, that the "Rapture”, which is the sudden resurrection of Christians, will take place before the horror of “The Great Tribulation” begins occurring (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 and 1-Corinthians 15:52).
1 Thessalonians 1:10 Says: "And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come."

1 Thessalonians 5:9-24 Says: "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do."

The Great Tribulation will be a period seven years long, in which God allows Satan a final wrath on unredeemed/unsaved mankind who are in God’s image (Genesis 1:26 and Revelation 12:12). God also sends His own wrath on a world that rejected salvation in His Son (Revelation 19:15). In the meantime, lots of non-believers in God’s Word and backslidde
Christians are making light of this and scoffing at what we see happening today, before our very eyes and ears.

Satan is given this final “wrath” to direct upon mankind (Revelation 12:12) but he is afterward bound/imprisoned for 1,000 years. He is allowed one more time of tempting naturally born people on Earth, who repopulate the world after the great Tribulation. He will be bound in “the bottomless pit” during Christ’s 1,000-year rule of peace (Revelation 20:2–3), that takes place before he is released execute a final temptation on the repopulated inhabitants on the Earth.

“Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” (2 Peter 3:3-4).
So, will you be a scoffer? Some believers in Christ, are phony and are actually embracing the sin nature instead of Christ, but a person can sincerely accept God’s free gift of salvation, obtained for us by His Son – Jesus Our Lord and Messiah and walk the rest of one's natural life, in the light of this salvation, also called being "born again" and "saved".

About the Author

I am a graduate of Liberty University (1996) for completion of theological studies (33 college credits), and I completed "Bible Survey" with Assemblies of God - Berean College. I consider myself a "Bapticostal" (a Baptist also having Pentecostal beliefs). Bible studies are one of my most-covered book subjects. I am, however, careful to only address those subjects I believe God has given me correct revelation on. I was a Christian Youth Minister, beginning in 1983 for approximately 18 years. During, between and after youth ministries I served in other church capacities as well, including interim pastoring and retirement home ministry. MOST IMPOTANTLY, I am a redeemed man, who has received salvation by acceptance of Jesus Christ (John 3:16) and what he did for me in shedding his blood and dying for me on the cross, and in his resurrection from the dead, giving me the promise of ete
al life, purely by grace; not due to anything I have done, other than to accept it freely.
