You have an identity…

A way you see yourself…

A way you look at the world…

And there are only certain things you are allowed to do when you act within the confines of that identity…

You can only eat certain foods which can be a good or a bad thing…

You can only belong to a particular religion which can be a good or a bad thing…

You can only use certain words which can be a good or a bad thing…

You can only make so much money which can be a BAD THING!

You can only parent in a certain way which can be a good or bad thing…

You can only indulge your sexual drive in certain ways which can be a good or a bad thing…

You can only do certain kinds of work which can be a good or a bad thing…

Everything about your life is defined by your self-imposed identity…

So, I ask you to think about it, Do you like your identity?

Do you like the life that your identity has created so far?

If you do, then GREAT! Keep at it!

But if you are in any way dissatisfied, change your identity…

Change the way you look at yourself…

Change what you allow yourself to do!

Because honey, you can change, you know?!

You are an acting, feeling, desiring person and if you do not like where your current personality and identity is taking you, CHANGE DIRECTION!

Change how you look at the world!

Change what you allow yourself to think!

I know you are under the impression that your way is the only way to be but it is not true!

You can be anything, do anything, have anything you want if you will simply CHOOSE IT!

And you choose it by the actions you allow yourself to take!

You cannot tell me that you want to impact more people while at the same time, playing small in someone else’s vision and telling yourself that your time will come!

Honey, freedom is TAKEN, it will not be given to you!

You have to ACT AS THOUGH YOU REALLY DO WANT IT!

Right now, it looks like you are happy enough playing the small game and so, you keep getting the smaller and smaller game and you say you are dissatisfied but you seem unwilling to question what you hold to be true.

You can see that others may think differently from you but you are so used to feeling superior about your way of thinking that you don’t realise just how much it stifles you!

You are so used to judging other people’s ways of doing things and thinking your way is best, you forget to notice just how much it keeps you from everything you say you want!

I used to be you!

All self-righteous in my thinking…

Sure that I was right and everyone else was wrong…

Trying not to see that I was unhappy!

Trying not to see that my identity and thinking was leading to me living a very small life…

Trying hard to be right about God, about sex, about work, about parenting, about everything…

I had a way of thinking and I was too scared to consider a different way…

Who would I be, if I left behind my identity? And chose to deliberately design my life?

Supposing I made a mistake?

Supposing I was not enough to go all the way?

Supposing people laughed at me for thinking I could be more?

Supposing God PUNISHED me for thinking I could be more?!!

Supposing, supposing, SUPPOSING!!!

And so I stayed stuck for a long time until the call on my life, the desire for freedom, the recognition that I was simply holding my own damn self back became too much to bear…

I hit rock-bottom even though I was trying to do all the right things…

And I decided to go after all the things I wanted instead…

If I was going to expend all that energy, I may as well expend it on doing things I wanted to do!!!!

Same goes for you!

This is your life and if you do not like what you see, then you get to change it…

IT IS YOUR CHOICE!

You can be free of your current identity and become the person who goes after everything you really do desire…

This is your one life!

YOUR ONE EXISTENCE!

At least, it is as far as you know!

Why the hell not make the most of it?

Why not enjoy it?

Why not really live out your vision?

Why not follow your heart?

Do the things that you have been dreaming about doing…

Create the abundance you want…

THIS IS YOUR LIFE!

Let others allow fear determine their steps…

You can let love, passion, purpose determine yours!
