What Is CAD?
If you’re a person that deals in any kind of design business I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase CAD somewhere or have seen it in some sort of literature. The letters in CAD have a special meaning that is known as Computer Aided Design or Drafting. This is basically designing technical drawings with the assistance of computer software. This software has been around for a while now, but is just now being recognized as much as it’s counterpart the drafting table. This practice of using a drafting board to design blueprints is still used today, but has nowhere near the presence it once had.

The Architectural Split Level Design
The split level was conceived for the sloping or hilly lot. It takes advantage of what might otherwise prove to be a troublesome difference in elevation and uses it to advantage. As a general rule, a split level should not be built on a flat lot. Mounding up soil in front of the high section to give the appearance of a hill usually yields poor results.r
