Gabriola woman spotted in Morocco! Snake charmers, colorful fabrics, rich spices, and breath taking architecture define the beautiful country of Morocco. Whether it’s a romantic holiday for two or a family adventure, or me-myself-and-I, that you’re thinking of planning, Morocco has got everything for you. A bit of an adventurer I set off from Gabriola Island. Notwithstanding the butterflies in my stomach, Morocco has been in my heart for a very long time. So, here I go, and I hope you enjoy the journey with me. The art buffs will certainly enjoy the busy streets, the museums, and the beautiful photos that will come out of a trip to the sand dunes, Atlas mountain tops, and palaces. Here are my top 5 recommendations of things to do in Morocco while you’re there: 1. Explore Marrakech. History and art consume the region of Marrakech where tours from old tombs to market places take place daily. Walk the city and explore the richly ordained palaces as you take in the essence and beauty of the Moroccan culture. 2. Join a cooking class. Getting to know the cuisine of Morocco is not quite like learning how to make the food yourself. There are several classes that you can take that I would recommend to truly experience the flavors of Morocco. Classes can cost as little as EUR 38 to as much as EUR 160. 3. Adventure tours. Adventure-seeking spirits are going to enjoy going on trails as well as quad biking through the rough landscape. There’s nothing quite like the feel of the wind in your hair and the sound of a loud engine to give you that perfect adrenaline rush that you need. Follow your guide and drive your own vehicle as you explore the beautiful country. 4. Shop. Whether you choose to head out in the day or at night, Morocco’s busy streets will be filled with interesting trinkets left and right to fill your vacation with great gifts to take back home. Morocco is oozing with vibrant fabrics that anyone who collects would want to take home. It’s a whole other culture on its own, and shopping along the streets of Morocco doesn’t get any better than that. 5. Take off on a romantic balloon ride. So you might have heard of the hot balloon rides in Morocco; but nothing can compare to the scenic view that you will get when you’re above Morocco. Take in the rich culture and all its wonderful colors from up in the air and you certainly will not regret it. It’s a must-do for couples who need time for themselves and a necessity for all who wish to fall in love with the Moroccan country. Morocco... there’s nothing quite like it! It is a country that is as rich and vibrant as its people. There’s no telling what will surprise you next when you are in Morocco. Who can forget the gorgeous and romantic tale of Casablanca that was shot in Casablanca itself? And, who wouldn’t want to head out on a romantic getaway to the city of love, history and art? Back home 2 weeks later, I’m full to the brim with culture, art, music, food of Morocco, but nowhere in the world is there a place like home, Gabriola’s for me.

The Evolution of the Resident Experience Imagine a property manager named Alex. Alex oversees three hundred apartment units across a bustling metropolitan area. A few years ago, Alex’s day began and ended with a symphony of ringing phones. Between leaky faucets, lost keys, and prospective tenants asking about square footage, the actual work of managing a property—strategy, inspections, and community building—was often buried under a mountain of missed calls and frantic
