Just by shifting the pile a bit you can open up air spots that will help to speed up the growth of bacteria.

Use fertilizers that are free for the taking. Using chemical free grass clippings or human urine for a nutrient rich and free fertilizer. Twenty parts water with one part urine is an excellent fertilizer for seedlings, or steep the grass clippings in water to make a tea for watering and fertilizing the plants. So don't spend a lot on the garden when the fertilizers can be had for free.

Most annual vines grow very quickly once they are established. Many species of annual vines grow 20 feet long and come into bloom within a few weeks. The fast-growing vines make wonderful natural screens against sun, wind, or view. To encourage more blooms, fasten vine shoots horizontally along supports, trellises, or fences. This will cause the plant to grow low, lateral shoots that will flower.

Growing compost piles are a great alte
ative to buying traditional fertilizer. Compost piles are composed of organic material that slowly deteriorates making a nutrient-rich soil. It presents both a great way of ridding yourself of banana peels and other organic compounds, while providing your plants with a nitrogen rich mixture that will promote increased growth.

Take care of weeds right away when you see them sprout up. Weeds can grow very quickly, and they can take over your garden if they are left unattended. It is easier to keep weeds under control when the weeds are still relatively young. Large weeds have deeper roots and are more difficult to remove.
