Over the last decade businesses have found networking amongst other companies within trade shows and exhibitions where paying visitors are actively searching for products and services within their specific area of great benefit. Exhibitions and trade shows are fantastic for attracting potential customers but once you have your customer base at hand you need to ensure they seek out your business. The best way in which to attract attention in such shows is with the exhibition stand. Exhibition stands are in essence a simple method to attract potential customers to come and engage with you. However in our visual based society, an appealing, eye catching designed exhibition stand with colourful logos will automatically draw attention to your businesses and make people aware of your products and services. This could make all the difference between top of mind recall weeks later when people turn to buy, against any other company. Utilising the right exhibition stand design is especially important in the direct selling focused trade shows and exhibitions. The competition at such events is relatively high which means that it is paramount you attract the right customers to your stand before any other company. So by using creative graphics and visually pleasing designs the more engaging your exhibition stand will be. This in turn will reduce having to use the hard selling approach, which in many environments can actually lose you potential customers. It is important to create large, loud and colourful graphics which provide a relevant yet simple message. It is also wise to ensure that your exhibition banner features your company branding and logo, combined with promotional materials each displaying clearly your logo and company name. It is especially important to display your logo, any slogan and a reason for people to be attracted to your stand as big as possible and show it off as high as the event will allow. Once you have attracted visitors to your stand it is important to try to keep them engaged with something relating to your products or brand, the longer you keep them interested the more they will remember your company. Features are great methods for people to become engaged, such as video games. However you do not want any video game it needs to relate to your brand, so if you can try to have a game created specifically towards your brand. This may seem at first as an expensive feature, but a simple game created possibly by a university student as a project or assignment is an excellent cost effective venture. Other possibilities to consider are competitions or video film, or a great concept would be to offer a free app relating to your brand. The best features are something no other company is doing, something that will engage the customer and in short enable your exhibition stand to be the one everyone talks about. The concept to the exhibition is to attract interested visitors who then turn in to sales right there and then. If this is not possible, the next best option is to gain contact information, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers and any further information regarding the interested parties. It is essential that you provide as many people with promotional items as possible that relate to your brand. The exhibition stand design is extremely important as an advertising tool. It not only helps to establish your corporate identity, but also helps in building your company image and brand. The problem with any exhibition or trade show is that all the other companies also have only one motive and that is to attract business. This is why it is extremely important that your exhibition stand design is of the highest quality.
