Our bodies start to change during puberty and it is then that we begin to store more fat, as well as gain more muscle. When this fat is produced, it can begin to settle in areas and create pockets. Those pockets look bumpy when we see them in a mirror and are typically found around the thighs, buttocks and hip areas. This fat is called cellulite and you can eliminate unwanted cellulite and exercise it away with a good workout regiment. These little fatty pockets tend to hang out in areas which do not get much use. The circulation in those places is not as good as other spots on the body. Good circulation can help prevent the build up of fat, so increasing it in the trouble areas will surely help. In order to achieve proper circulation, cardiovascular training as well as strength training are excellent ideas and are the best exercise for cellulite stricken areas. Before you start all of the intense sweat sessions, it is important you warm up your muscles first with stretching. Light stretching will get the blood flowing and pumping. This is a great way to help prevent injuries and prepare your muscles for strenuous activities. The best exercises to get rid of cellulite and burn calories, are various cardiovascular workouts. Walking, speed walking, jogging and running are all great and so is bike riding, dance routines and aerobics. These work because they burn calories fast, when calories burn they lead to fat burning and then less fat pockets on the body. In order to stimulate all areas of the body, including your muscles, bones, organs and joints, try yoga. Yoga is a great way to incorporate a full body workout which stimulates everything inside of us and produces great blood flow. In addition to increased blood flow, you will burn calories and fat which will reduce the bumpy parts. Along with cardio and yoga, you should begin a strength training regiment. Lunges are great for working you inner and outer thighs as well as your buttocks and legs. Forward lunges, side lunges and walking lunges are all useful options. Doing exercises to get rid of cellulite is a safe, natural and effective way to see results. It may take some time, but the results are well worth the wait. Once you have accomplished your goal, it is just a matter of maintaining your hard work. Make sure you check with a health care professional prior to starting up a serious workout routine and then again if you become injured.
