The knowledge on how to remove warts has become very important because, let's face it, they are completely unattractive. If you want to remove those warts in the best and safest way possible, you should most definitely consult a dermatologist, since he knows what's best.

HPV, or Human Papilloma Virus, is the culprit that should be blamed for the growths known as skin warts. Warts grown when the virus enters the skin through a cut or a wound. The top layer of the skin would then grow into a wart. We can name 5 common types of warts that grow in various ways all over the body. The most common of all would be those that appear on the hands. They are rough, dome-shaped and appear gray-brown in color. Plantar Warts, as the name suggests grow on the soles of the feet. Hard, thick and dark, you will find some specks in them. These types of warts can cause pain when you walk. On the other hand, Flat Warts are often found growing on the face or on the limbs. These small Flat Warts come in different colors. They could be brown or yellow, sometimes even pink. The last 2 types of warts are the Filliform Warts and the Periungual Warts. Periungual Warts happen to be those that appear around the finge
ails and toenails. If the warts are around the nose or mouth, those are the Filliform Warts. Warts under toenails are especially painful, especially when walking or running.

Bodily fluids entering the body through skin cuts or wounds could also be carrying the Human Papilloma Virus. One way of that happening would be when people share razors and other personal items. Sharing of these items should be kept at a minimum or avoided altogether if you want to avoid this bodily transfer. Still the best way to avoid these warts is to keep them from appearing or growing. HPV can also be spread from one part of the body to another when you touch a wart, then scratch another part of the body such as the face.

The most important factors to know regarding Removing Warts is not to lance them with a needle or other sharp device. You would be risking infection if you do things this way. It would be wisest if you go straight to a doctor and ask for his help. In removing warts, a doctor would first perform a biopsy. A sample of the wart would be inspected under a microscope. Through this biopsy, the doctor will be able to tell if the wart will have a possibility of becoming cancerous in the future or not.

Treatments to remove warts may include Home remedies, such as salicylic acid or duct tape. The physician may also suggest an office visit to kill the wart using medication either topically or injected directly into the wart. Or you could also try freezing off the warts. This process is otherwise known as cryotherapy.

These methods are guaranteed to be safe. However, it is important to note that once a wart is removed, it may come back. This can occur, because the wart is removed, but the virus still remains.

Physicians remain to be the most reliable sources when it comes to information and assistance on how to remove warts. They have the necessary knowledge and training to deal with skin problems, including warts.
