Do you wonder how to get what you want in your life? Does it frustrate you that some people seem to get everything they want while you always struggle and yet only get lucky now and then? How come that some people succeed easily while others do not? Is there a secret recipe?
Here are some key elements in understanding how to get what you want in life:
First you need to understand that this has nothing to do with luck. Rather it has everything to do with how your mind works. You get the results you get in your life by what you do inside your mind. That is why your first step to become one of those “lucky” people is to become aware of what you actually do inside your mind. Until you are fully aware of how you use your mind power there is always a risk that you will be your own worst enemy.
When I say ‘become aware’ I mean this:
a. Observe yourself as you create your results
b. Notice how you do what you do while you are doing itrnc. Notice the consequences of what you are doing.
This observation has to be done without any judgment because that will only blur and disturb your observation. Be like a scientist searching for the truth within yourself.
This is what you shall look for:
> What internal pictures do you create? > Is what you are doing connected with any kind of internal sound? > Are touch, balance, temperature and sensations involved in any way? > Is a special smell or taste in some way linked to what you are doing inside? > What is your internal dialog, what do you say to yourself, what is your silent self-talk?
These are internal representations of our conceived exte
al reality that all of us make all the time. These representations are responsible for the feelings you have. They are created automatically by what you believe about something.
> What are your feelings? Would you describe them as positive or negative?
> Also notice what you focus upon. Do you focus upon what you want or are you most conce
ed about avoiding something you do not want?
> Then ask yourself this question: “What is it that I believe since I have this focus and create these internal representations?”
> Then question the answer you get: “Is it true?” “Is it true for me NOW?” “Does this belief help me create what I want or does it limit my possibilities?”
I hope you see how this process creates choices for you. When you become aware of the choices you actually have you will stop making the unconscious choices that you make today and that leads you to the results you do not want.
I also hope you take your time to master this process because with every issue you do this process you arern> growing your awareness of what you do inside of your mind > getting motivated to change your focus and delete dysfunctional beliefs that no longer serves you well and replace them with more constructive beliefs > increasing your choices and your feeling of freedomrn> making it much easier for you to get what you want in life
