Search Engine Optimization verifies the different methods by which various topics are searched over the internet and the techniques using the websites are listed by various search engines when a topic is searched for. The optimization procedure consists of the processes like editing the content of the website to enlist the most searched keywords in the webpage in appropriate places, coding of the keywords using HTML, choosing the apposite titles, adding hyperlink in relevance with the keywords and even removing the factors which block the actions helping the search engines to index the sites. Do not let your webpage wandering in some long queues anymore!! Optimize your webpage and record the top spot in all the search engines!!

Before Search Engine Optimization was introduced, when a topic is entered in a search engine, the web pages that are most viewed previously only will occupy the first page in the search result. This reduced the probability for the newer, more explainable websites on the very same topics to be viewed first. Also people will be satisfied with the information provided by the former sites at the top. So the only way to make your website your website is to optimize in such a manner that the search engines choose to put your website in the first place. This led to the concept of Search Engine Optimization. Search Engine Optimization was introduced in 1997 in the commercial market. All the websites were sent for optimization and verification to the SEO’s.

The optimizers identify the factors that the search engines apply to identify the websites relevant to the topic being searched for. They observe several kinds of searches like local search, image search industry-specific vertical search engines and even blogs to optimize the websites. The two main classifications of Search Engine Optimization methods are White hat and Black hat. White hat techniques are those recommended by search engines for good examples for a good web design. But Black hat techniques are those unapproved by the search engines to design a search engine and they may even ban the websites that follow these techniques. So, to be precise Black hat is an illegal method to optimize a website. One can get long time results using White hat techniques. Black hat techniques give better results for a very short time and can cause termination of the website when identified by the search engines.

White hat Search Engine Optimizers use optimization techniques like applying dissimilar page titles, expressive keywords for links and focused site topics that differentiate the customers’ sites from the others. These are the things commonly seen in the top links in search engines. Most of the SEO choose the domain name with the primary keyword, use suggestion tools and popularity tools to find the keywords and use them in the webpage. Another important factor is the keyword density which is maintained in a high percentage. Too high density may blacklist your site accusing for spamming. So use the recommended Search Engine Optimization methods to get your webpage on the top list in any search engine.
